In 2017 there are a huge number of ways to get your message out to the world to tell them about your shiny new model. Toyota has decided that the best way to introduce the new C-HR to the world is to feature the model in a reworked version of the arcade classic Street Fighter.
The short, which is set in the world of Street Fighter, has gamers choice Ryu driving in his brand new Toyota C-HR to the locations lifted straight from the arcade game. Ryu visits the games classic characters Ken, E. Honda, Guile, Blanka, and more in their familiar world locations.
When Ryu meets arch rival Vega sthough, matters take a darker turn. A battle to the death ensues with Vega showing his signature trademark moves. The Toyota CH-R is having none of it and takes the fight to Vega by fighting back with its own hood pop and headlight laser beam. These moves inevitably lead the CH-R to defeat Vega and claim victory.
For anyone (like me) who played the original arcade game, Toyota has managed to pull together something pretty cool here. They have reminded us that Street Fighter was one of the great games by merging it with their rather funky looking CH-R. Now, where did I put my copy of Street Fighter as I have the urge to be Ryu again……..
