Currently, according to FBI estimates, there are between 25 to 50 active serial killers in the USA at any given time. To be considered a serial killer you must have committed 3 murders or more over a period longer of a calendar month.

So if you’re one of these quite disturbed individuals what do you drive whilst you go about your serial killing business, Ted Bundy is one of America’s most notorious serial killers, his car of choice was a humble Volkswagen Beetle which allowed him to blend in and persuade his victims to enter the car with under the false premise of being injured. It has been well documented that police arrested Bundy after a traffic stop outside Salt Lake City in 1975, inside the car they found various items used in his crimes including a ski mask and handcuffs.  The actual Volkswagen Beetle driven by Bundy was on display at the National Museum of Crime & Punishment in Washington D.C. until its closure in late 2015.

Bundy confessed to over 30 murders during his active years and is thought to have committed over 100 murders in total during his active time.

If you’re a serial killer car choice is as important as victim choice, when choosing a car there are many things to consider ‘will it attract the attention of the police’, ‘can I fit a body in the trunk’, ‘can I blend in with the masses’ etc, so on and so forth.

So I’m a serial killer and I live in a large city what car is best for me?

The first car on our list is an easy one, it blends in, it has a bit trunk for the potential and or prior victim for disposal:

Toyota Corolla

Toyota Corolla

If beige was a car it would be a Corolla. For many years, it has been the choice of bland lovers everywhere, a car for people who don’t like excitement or colour in their lives that don’t like to be noticed.

When was the last time you actually noticed a Corolla in motion, exactly you haven’t!. Starting a very reasonable $17,300 for the base model which is the one you’re going to want as a serial killer. Think of it as camouflage in automotive form with a big enough trunk for all your killing kit and at least two victims alive or dead.

How about if I want a portable torture chamber for my victims?

I would recommend a van, a creepy one should do such as the next vehicle on our list.

Ford Econoline Van (4th Generation – 1992 – 2014)

Ford Econoline 1

If ever a car just said “serial killer” on it’s the For Econoline van, I mean look at the think, it’s shady looking regardless of whether it’s in motion or not. The Econoline boasts massive rear storage which can be soundproofed to prevent prying ears from hearing the cries of your victims, of which I estimate you could easily fit 6 victims in total along with your shovels and other required serial killer kit.

Also, the storage space can easily be cleaned out once you’re done with the disposal of your now rather dead victims. As the Corolla reeks of beige the Econoline van reeks of creepiness.

I live in the desert and need to dispose of my victims that I pick up in the quiet roads, what type of off-roader do I need?

Well for an all-purpose vehicle you’re going to need both off-road ability and reliability, therefore, a hard wearing pickup is required.

The Toyota Hilux – 1968-2016

Toyota-Hilux2

If ever there was a truck that you can depend on its the Toyota Hilux. The Hilux is almost impossible to kill and with sufficient off road ability to transport yourself with your most recent victim or victims to a nice quiet spot in the middle of nowhere enabling you to dispose of their remains so no one will ever find them.

The Hilux features tonnes of load space for your victims and any of their personal items you may need to dispose of. In addition to this, it comes in a dizzying array of options such as single cab, double cab and with enough tool box storage options to keep even the most disturbed mind happy. I mean those corpses are not going to bury themselves unless you force your victims to dig their own graves, which would make perfect sense from a productivity point of view.

The Toyota Hilux the favourite of war zone rebels the world over and a great all rounder for the kidnap, transport & disposal of victims.
