When thinking of cars that could use more power, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is not one that immediately springs to mind. Packing a whopping 572bhp of firepower, you would think that this is enough. Porsche disagrees, so has given us a new Exclusive Series model with 599bhp.

Exclusive By Name And Price

Limited to 500 units worldwide, this revised model is powered by the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six found in the standard car. It now produces 599bhp meaning that the 0-62mph is run in 2.9 seconds, top speed is 205mph which is exactly the same numbers as the standard car. The only notable difference in pace is the 0-124mph run which is completed in 9.6seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard model. The fact that this Turbo S can achieve such huge pace in under 10 seconds is mindblowing. Remember when really fast cars did 0-100mph in less than 10 seconds? Utterly insane.

Want one? Well, the price of exclusivity is a big one, £186,916 to be exact, which is roughly £40,000 more than a normal Turbo S. Thankfully, you get a little more than just the 27bhp of additional grunt. The car is painted in what Porsche call “Golden Yellow Metallic” with “carbon weave strips” (there are other color choices), 20-inch centre-locking wheels painted in black come as standard.

The remainder of the cosmetic upgrades consist of a new front splitter, rear apron, and a carbon ram-air scoop. Finally, the car is embossed with ‘Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’ logos on the wings so that the world knows you don’t just drive any old 911 Turbo S.

Other changes include the addition of the Porsche Active Suspension Management system, Dynamic Chassis Control (including rear wheel steering) and Sports Chrono pack all fitted from the factory as standard. The inside also becomes a bit more exclusive with the addition of 18-way adjustable seats, and various yellow and Alcantara additions to the interior.
