Tony Stark aka Iron Man will be a happy man today (if he existed of course) as leading German car-making leviathan Audi has unveiled a concept version of it’s Audi R8 e-tron at the CES show  in China, This concept essentially features tech that will allow the driver to sit back and relax. The all-electric, self-driving super car was revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Shanghai.

The Audi R8 e-tron features the company’s new piloted driving conception – its third such autonomous concept car to be revealed following experiments with the RS7 and A7.

Featuring a 455bhp electric powertrain, the car is capable of the 0-62mph dash (mph) in 3.9 seconds. going onto a top speed of 155mph, given how fast this R8 is Audi claim you can charge it fully within 2 hours.

The concept car unlike the normal  human controlled version is packed tons of additional tech to keep it away from ditches and the like, things straight from Tony Stark’s toy box such as a vast number of sensors, laser scanners and video cameras, enabling it to drive without any real driver input. All of these aforementioned tech sources will collate the date and process it via a central based computer that creates a virtual picture of the car’s current environment and any obstacles and thus any changes it needs to make to stay on course.

All I want to really know if it comes with Jarvis onboard to address you as ‘sir’.
