Now we have The Grand Tour filling the Top Gear shaped hole in all of our lives, most may have forgotten that Top Gear evens exists.

Well despite its recent upheaval Top Gear is alive and kicking and on Christmas Day an exclusive preview arrived in the form of a rubbish car drag race with no actual steering allowed.

Thankfully the ginger one has now departed and we are presented with what could be the main presenter line up consisting of Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid. You know the line-up we should have been given in the first place.

During this very brief preview it appears that Top Gear may be returning to the three blokes messing about in cars format that made it so great in the first place.

No word on when season 24 airs yet, but given when old new Top Gear used to air in January of a new year. You should expect more of the same.
