Even as it approaches 30 years old, the Ferrari F40 is still considered by many to be one of the greatest supercars ever built . The facts are that it was last car that Enzo Ferrari himself personally approved and it’s the car the saved Ferrari from financial ruin in 1987.

Finally the ultimate tribute, Lego have announced a plastic brick version of the F40, oh my god it’s amazing!!!!!.

The £65, staggering 1158-piece set will be released  on August 1 2015, if your a Lego VIP member you  can can actually order one a few weeks earlier starting July 15 2015.

The model includes working doors, a hood that opens and closes revealing the car’s boot up front, pop-up headlights, and a rear gate that lifts open to reveal the car’s engine. And not only does the model include a detailed replica of the Ferrari F40’s twin turbo-charged, 2.9-liter, 478 horsepower V8 engine, it’s actually removable so you can be in awe at all of its beauty.
